Coat length is based on your preference and your dog’s shape.

Smaller breeds (like Chihuahuas) often do best with a shorter length ending near the base of the tail
Longer, lean breeds may benefit from extended coverage beyond the base of the tail for added warmth

Please note:
This classic Burrito Wrap style tends to fit small dogs best.
The Urban Greyhound Series fit the Italian Greyhounds and similar body types. Both styles can be custom made based on need & style you are looking for.

• Italian Greyhounds are built differently - deep chest, narrow waist, and long back legs. While small dogs require the same level of thoughtful design to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.
• ABOUT FABRIC PATTERNS - I take special care when working with patterned fabrics, like plaids, florals, and other designs. Specifically to align seam pattern designs as neatly as possible. However, due to the way each pattern is printed and how the pieces are cut, exact matches to line up seam patterns aren't always possible. The variation is normal and adds to the uniqueness of your custom made item.
• Burrito Wrap Dog Co. garments are designed specifically for sighthounds and small dogs to allow natural movement without tight restriction across the shoulders or chest.
• Our wrap-style construction helps the coat stay in place while your dog runs, stretches, and curls up comfortably.

Each coat is made to order using your dog’s measurements for the best possible fit.

There are two important steps to creating your custom coat:

1. Size (Determines Price)

Your dog’s weight range is used to determine pricing.

Please select the appropriate weight category when ordering.

2. Measurements - For A Custom Fit

After purchase, you will provide your dog’s measurements so your coat can be made to fit properly.

📏 Measurements are required within 72 hours of placing your order.

Once received, construction will begin.

If measurements are not provided within this timeframe, your order may be delayed or canceled.

Care Instructions
⦾ Machine wash or hand wash in cold or warm water on a gentle cycle
⦾ Secure all hook-and-loop closures before washing
⦾ For best results, place garment inside a pillowcase or laundry bag to help reduce possible pilling.
⦾ Air dry recommended to preserve softness and structure

⏱ Each coat is made to order based on your dog’s measurements.

Measurements Required
Please submit your dog’s measurements within 72 hours of purchase so production can begin. Orders may be delayed if measurements are not received in this timeframe.

Production Time
Most coats are completed within 7-14 business days, depending on current production schedule and order volume

Shipping & Tracking
Once your order is finished, it will be carefully packaged and shipped.

You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is on its way.

Timing Note
During peak seasons (Fall/Winter), production times may need to be extended. If you need your order by a specific date, feel free to reach out before purchasing.

Custom-Made Items

• All coats are made to order using the measurements you provide. For this reason, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
• If your item arrives damaged or there is a construction issue, please contact me within three (3) days of delivery so I can evaluate and resolve the situation.
• Due to the custom and wearable nature of these items, returns are not accepted and cannot be resold.
  
• Because fit is based on submitted measurements, I am not responsible for sizing issues resulting from incorrect measurements. I’m always happy to help guide you before ordering.
• In the event an item is returned:
  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

• Your dog’s safety and comfort are our highest priority. While Burrito Wrap Dog Co. garments are designed for warmth, movement, and everyday wear, dogs should always be supervised while wearing clothing or accessories.
• Pet apparel is subject to normal wear and tear over time. Owners should regularly inspect garments for loose threads, damaged fasteners, or signs of excessive wear. If a garment becomes damaged, discontinue use to prevent potential hazards.
• No pet garment is indestructible. If your dog is prone to chewing or destructive behavior, clothing should be used with caution and only under supervision. Ingestion of fabric, snaps, or other components may pose a health risk.
• By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that proper supervision and fit are the responsibility of the pet owner. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our highest priority.
